Burgundy Silk Velvet Valentino Cocktail Dress ~ $150.00

Valentino created this cocktail dress with its scalloped and paneled bodice and embroidered skirt using burgundy velvet. Princess Diana wore the dress at the Hong Kong Gala at the Barbican in London in 1992, and also to a performance at Her Majesty's Theater in London for a performance to benefit Aids research in 1991. This replica is made with burgundy colored silk velvet, and has an open floral motif net lace covering the skirt. The entire dress is lined in white sun silky and closes with snaps. Completing the ensemble are faux crystal and pearl earrings and a matching silk handbag.

Lot 7 Diaphanous Evening Dress ~~ $250.00

**LIMITED AVAILABILITY**

Zandra Rhodes created a white silk chiffon evening dress for Princess Diana printed in an Edwardian style of white on white with a high V-neck and long sheer sleeves. It was decorated with pink glass beads, simulated pearls, silver and pearlized sequins and belted with white satin cord. Princess Diana wore the gown to a Birthright Benefit at the London Palladium.
This replica of that dress was created using an embroidered English net lace to simulate the white on white print. The draped/pleated bodice is accented with rose Swarovski crystals and faux pearls atop silver or pearlized sequins. The neckline, sleeves and entire hem of the dress is decorated with alternating crystals and pearls. The belt is white satin, stitched to duplicate the cording of the original belt. The sheer areas are lined in white chiffon, the body of the dress is lined in white sun silky as well as chiffon. The bodice closes with loops over faux pearls in the back; the midi-length wrap style skirt laps to close in the front.
